This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how GrabPo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, protects, and shares your personal information when you use the GrabPo mobile application (the “App”).

 

By using GrabPo, you agree to the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.

 

 

1. Information We Collect

 

We collect the following types of information to deliver our services:

 

 

1.1 Personal Information

 

  • Full Name

  • Mobile Number

 

 

1.2 Device & Usage Information

 

  • IP address

  • Device ID and type

  • OS version, browser details (if applicable)

  • App version, usage activity logs

 

 

1.3 Location Data (Optional)

 

If enabled, we may access your approximate location to personalize outlet listings or offers. You may choose to allow or deny this permission.

 

 

1.4 Outlet Interaction History

 

  • Points earned and redeemed

  • Offers viewed or claimed

  • Time and location of in-app redemptions

 

 

2. How We Use Your Information

 

We use your data to:

 

  • Register and manage your customer account

  • Enable reward collection and redemption with Outlets

  • Send push notifications for reward status, updates, and offers

  • Send marketing messages via SMS, WhatsApp, or push notifications

  • Improve the app experience, security, and system performance

  • Investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Use

 

 

3. Customer Data Ownership

 

All users registered as Customers on GrabPo are the sole data property of GrabPo.

 

Outlets and any other third parties:

 

  • Do not have ownership or access to Customer data (phone number, name, etc.)

  • Cannot request or collect customer contact information manually or externally

  • Cannot reuse or export customer data outside the GrabPo platform for independent marketing

 

Any such attempt will result in permanent removal from the platform and may lead to legal consequences.

 

 

4. Marketing Communication

 

By signing up, you consent to receive marketing messages from GrabPo via:

 

  • Push notifications

  • WhatsApp messages

  • SMS

 

These may include:

 

  • New outlet listings

  • Limited-time offers

  • Feature or app updates

 

You may opt out of marketing messages at any time via app settings or by replying “STOP” to SMS/WhatsApp.

 

Note: You will still receive essential notifications, including:

 

  • Points sent by an outlet

  • Successful redemption confirmations

  • Transaction updates related to your account

 

 

5. Data Sharing

 

We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.

 

We may share your information only with:

 

  • Trusted vendors (e.g., for WhatsApp/SMS delivery)

  • Legal authorities if required by law

  • Internal tools for fraud detection or Terms enforcement

 

We do not share data with outlets or advertisers.

 

 

6. Data Retention

 

We retain user data as long as:

 

  • The account remains active

  • It is needed for legal, business, or enforcement purposes

 

Upon request for deletion, core activity logs may be retained for:

 

  • Fraud monitoring

  • Audit and security purposes

  • Enforcement of platform restrictions (e.g., anti-cloning clauses)

 

 

7. Data Security

 

We implement industry-standard protections including:

 

  • End-to-end encryption

  • Access controls

  • Real-time activity monitoring

  • Server firewalls and breach detection

 

However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your own device and login credentials.

 

 

8. User Rights

 

You may, at any time:

 

  • Access your account details

  • Request correction of any inaccurate information

  • Opt out of marketing messages

  • Request account deletion (subject to audit obligations)

9. Prohibited Use of Data by Users

 

All users, including Customers, Outlets, and internal collaborators, are strictly prohibited from:

 

  • Extracting or exporting customer data outside the App

  • Using GrabPo data or platform structure to build, advise on, or support competing platforms

  • Reverse-engineering the App, copying its flows, or recreating any core feature(s)

 

This clause applies to:

 

  • Current and former users

  • Contractors, employees, advisors, or developers

  • Direct and indirect associations via teams, partners, or shell companies

 

Violations will result in:

 

  • Permanent bans

  • Legal action including injunctions and financial claims

  • Enforcement via takedown notices on app platforms

 

This clause is enforceable indefinitely, even after you stop using the App.

 

 

10. Children’s Privacy

 

GrabPo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover such a case, we will delete the account immediately.

 

 

11. Changes to This Policy

 

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be communicated via in-app notifications or banners. Continued use of the App after any change implies acceptance of the revised policy.
